Accounts by Role - Students

You are strongly encouraged to activate your UofM email account as soon as possible (48 hours after accepting your offer of admission), and no later than 48 hours prior to registering for courses.

Eligibility

  • Registered for at least one course or program in the current term
  • Students who are registered in winter term and have active computer accounts can keep their accounts over the following summer terms

  • UMnetID - Claim your UMnetID, activate your @myumanitoba.ca email address and accounts through, IST's computer account management system, signUM:

    • Printing facilities
    • Access to computers in the Libraries (can also use Library ID)
