Postcards on the Rights of the Child

In March 2008, a call for Postcards on the Rights of the Child was sent out to school students in Manitoba. Within a few weeks, more than 1,500 postcards from all grade levels were submitted. Each postcard referenced a specific article from the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child. Through these postcards, students engage in a dialogue of tomorrow, and the power of their visions and passion for a better world is evident.

To view these postcards, and to send them to friends and family around the world, visit the ePostcard website at http://www.maurocentre.org.

All children have these rights, no matter who they are, where they live, what their parents do, what language they speak, what their religion is, whether they are a boy or girl, what their culture is, whether they have a disability, whether they are rich or poor. No child should be treated unfairly on any basis.
