Brown Bag Lecture Series
Sponsored by the Ph.D. Program in Peace and Conflict Studies, the Friday lunchhour series features guest lecturers on the topic of peace and justice. The series is held in the Mauro Centre Boardroom, and starts at 12:15. The lecture is followed by a short question and answer period. Feel free to bring your lunch.

Sol Kanee Lecture Series
Sponsored by the Richardson Foundation, the Mauro Centre presents the Annual Sol Kanee Lecture Series featuring distinguished leaders in the field of peace and justice.
The lecture series is named in honour of a prominent Canadian citizen—Sol Kanee (1909 - 2007), who was devoted to the cause of peace and justice. Mr. Sol Kanee had an unparalleled record of service to Winnipeg, and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1977. Read more about Sol Kanee.

Storytelling for Peace and Renewing Community (SPARC)
The goal of SPARC is to promote knowledge and skills about innovative story-based approaches to conflict resolution, peace-building, and community building; and to serve as a crossroads for peace-builders, storytellers and other artists, educators, and other people working to promote constructive cultural change in their societies and/or in conflict zones.
