Everyday Diplomacy

Dr. Roger Mac GintyDr. Roger Mac Ginty is Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies at the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute and the Department of Politics at the University of Manchester. Dr. Mac Ginty edits the journal Peacebuilding with Oliver Richmond. He is the editor of the forthcoming Handbook on Peacebuilding (Routledge, 2013) and the author of International Peacebuilding and Local Resistance: Hybrid Forms of Peace (Palgrave, 2011). His work is interested in the interface between top-down and bottom-up interactions in peacebuilding. He is currently working on developing everyday peace indicators for local communities in five sub-Saharan countries.
