As a Student Advisory Council our commitment to students is to provide Christian leadership within the student community, which promotes initiatives and supports responsibility that incarnates the values and ethos of St. Paul's College through activities that build community and enhance the lives of all.
At St. Paul's College, you will find a community of students who share a smaller and more personal environment within the larger university campus. Formal and informal opportunities are provided through this community to explore and experience our Christian and Catholic faith. Working in conjunction with the Chaplains, the students can become involved in a variety of activities, both at St. Paul's College and in the wider community.
The Chaplains provide direction in planning and programming events and activities that help meet the needs of the Catholic community on the University of Manitoba campus. The events and activities include: Student Retreats, Bible Study, Weekday and Sunday Liturgies, Outreach and Social Justice Projects (Prison Ministry, Development & Peace, Inner City Outreach, etc.), R.C.I.A. (a program for Initiatiation into the Catholic Faith), prayer meetings, movie presentations followed by discussion groups, Sleigh Rides, Coffee Houses, and special College celebrations. The Chaplains also provide counselling services as well as information of local or diocesan concern.
Our Campus Ministry wants to connect with every student, every year and help promote postive change. If you're interested in great events and getting involved contact one of our Team Members today!
