Introduction to the English Section
This is the Index to English-language papers published by the Catholic
Church Historical Association from 1959 through 1983. From 1959 through
1965 that publication as titled Report; from 1966 through 1983 it
was called Study Sessions.
French-language papers are included in the index for the French section,
abbreviated "FS" in the cross references in this index. One French-language
paper, however, is included in this English Section Index because it was
paginated with English-language articles when it appeared; that article
is the 1965 study by Gaston Carrière on the relations of the Hudson's
Bay Company with western missions.
Names of persons are given in all-capital letters to aid the eye in
quickly distinguishing people from places or topics.

and the Jackman Foundation in the preparation and publication of this index
