Many University of Manitoba courses are offered in St John’s College classrooms each year.  These courses are open to all University of Manitoba students, and, while College members are not required to take any courses at St John’s, they are invited to do so. 

It is possible for first-year students to meet the requirements for University 1 by selecting courses timetabled at the College.  St John’s College has organized sample first-year timetables for popular combinations of Arts and Science courses scheduled at the College, including a timetable for students interested in applying to professional faculties such as Medicine, Dentistry, or Pharmacy (see “Sample timetables” below). Students can often select many of their upper-level degree requirements from courses offered within the College as well.
