Колеґія Св. Андрея продовжує активно працювати та зміцнювати Канадську, Українсько-Канадську та Українську Православну громаду в Канаді.
До повного складу Дирекції Колеґії входять 20 членів з різних частин Канади.
Колеґія разом з Українською громадою в Канаді сумують за втратою д-р Петра Кондри, котрий упокоївся 22 липня 2011 року. Почесний член Дирекції і колишній Голова Дирекції Колеґії, д-р Кондра був першовідкривачем, котрий бачив майбутнє Колеґії як частину Кампусу Університету Манітоби. А також він зробив знаменний внесок у заснування Центру Українських Канадських Студій у 1980 році.
Дирекція Колеґії регулярно зустрічаєтся та обговорює різноманітні місцеві та загальні питання.
Колеґія Св. Андрея, так як і інші навчальні заклади у Канаді, відчуває фінансові кризи світового ринку. Однак Колеґія завжди працювала з дбайливим ставленням та пильністю, що і надалі буде продовжувати.
Так як на Соборі 2010 було прийняте рішення про бюджетні внески членів Української Православної Церкви в Канаді, Колеґія Св. Андрея почала відчувати фінансову підтримку.
Оскільки Дирекції не вдалося знайти кандитата, котрий би відповідав усім вимогам щодо посади ректора, було вирішено просити о. Божика продовжувати виконувати ці обовязки. Отець Роман великодушно погодився залишитися на посаді діючого ректора і працювати на благо Колеґії.
Загалом 2010-11 роки пройшли успішно у Колеґії і ми з нетерпінням чекаємо 2011-12.
Ми щиро дякуємо усім теперішнім та колишнім членам Дирекції за їх віддану працю та службу.
REPORT OF THE CHAIR OF THE BOARD

St. Andrew’s College continues in 2010-11 to impact the Canadian community, the Ukrainian Canadian community as well as the Ukrainian Orthodox community.
The Full Board consists of some 20 members from across Canada. (See the separate page for a listing of all current Board members.)
The College notes with sadness the passing of Dr. Peter Kondra at the age of 100 on July 22, 2011. Longtime Board member, honorary Board member, and former Principal of the College, Dr. Kondra was a pioneer who saw the coming of the College to the University of Manitoba campus and was a significant part of the team that engineered the formation of the Centre for Ukrainian Canadian Studies in 1980. Dr. Kondra’s passing marks the end of an era.
The College’s Executive Committee meets regularly, to steer local and general needs as required.
St. Andrew’s College, as all other educational institutions across Canada, feels the financial crunch of the depressed world markets. The College has always operated under careful stewardship and careful vigilance and will continue to do so in this economic environment. This year, St. Andrew’s begins to see the impact of a levy on each member of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada, which was mandated at the 2010 Sobor.
A still unsolved issue is the continued Board decision to ask Fr. Roman Bozyk to remain as Acting Principal. The Board’s efforts to find a new principal have met with lack of resolution. Therefore, Fr. Bozyk graciously carries an extra heavy load and looks forward to the day when he will be relieved of that additional assignment. His full time appointment as Dean and Chaplain continues.
In all, 2010-11 has been a quiet year for the College. We look forward to 2011-12.
Finally, this is a totally volunteer Board. Each of the individual Board Members give freely of their time and expertise. We thank all present and past Board members for their contribution to our College.
