The Board of Directors and Administration of St. Andrew’s College gratefully acknowledge the many members of the Order of St. Andrew Chapters across Canada and their continued dedicated support of our College.

Many Order of St. Andrew Chapters have developed innovative fundraising events and projects over the past years and also constantly endeavor to find creative new ways to provide the support so necessary for St. Andrew’s College.

The most recent College Campaign, for the Pavlo Macenko Chair of Ukrainian Church Music, was launched in August during the National CYC Convention in Winnipeg. At that time, the College was presented with a most generous cheque in the amount of $10, 000 from the Calgary Chapter of the Order of St. Andrew.

Most Order of St. Andrew Chapters are not able to raise such a large amount in one year or during one event but can do so over a period of time, as did the Calgary Chapter.

The Calgary Chapter actually raised the money through proceeds from their annual fundraising dinner over each of the last three years. On each of these occasions members of the Order of St. Andrew and their spouses, parishioners of St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Orthodox Congregation, as well as other supporters, attended a $70/plate dinner evening with half the cost directed as a donation to the St. Andrew’s College Chair of Ukrainian Church Music. Each dinner was successful in generating over three thousand dollars for this project.
