St. Andrew’s College Concert Tour All St. Andrew’s College students, residents, theology students and University of Manitoba members, have the opportunity to enroll and participate in the Ukrainian cultural program at the College. Dobr. Genia Bozyk is the director and co-ordinator of the program. She is assisted by two instructors: Katrusia Basarab (a current St. Andrew’s College student) for Ukrainian dance and Mark Procyshyn (a recent St. Andrew’s College alumnus) for Ukrainian choir and instrumental music. |

| Each year the students learn new pieces and diligently practice and rehearse to prepare for concert tours in February. This year “Concert Tour 2001” presented three performances in Winnipeg: Saturday February 10 at the Order of St. Andrew Valentine Banquet, Sunday February 11 at All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Transcona and Sunday February 18 at St. Andrew’s College. The fourth and last concert was at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba on Sunday February 25. The parish priest, the Rev. Fr. Ihor Okhrimtchouk and his wife Dobr. Jennifer are both alumni of St. Andrew’s College and were participants in the Ukrainian cultural program during their years at the College. Dobr. Jennifer was first a participant and later taught Ukrainian dancing. | |

| It is important to reach our young people at the university level and keep them involved in our community and in our church.
