Andrew Skolny Award

Mr. Andrew Skolny, a long time cantor (дяк) in Manitoba and a pillar of stability and help to many young newly ordained Ukrainian Orthodox priests, has generously established awards to be given to the next six qualified candidates. Mr. Andrew Skolny has designated these awards for Canadian born candidates who:
- have graduated from the Faculty of Theology of St. Andrew’s College and,
- are married and ordained and,
- have already accepted a parish in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada.

Fr. Michael Maranchuk of Vegreville is the first recipient.
