College Feast Day and Annual General Meeting - December 12, 2010
Храмове Свято та Річні Збори Членів Колеґії Св. Андрея відбулися у неділю 12 грудня 2010 року, після 2-дених нарад Членів Дирекції Колеґії Св. Андрея 10 - 11 грудня 2010 року.
Його Преосвященство Єпископ АНДРІЙ, очолив Архиєрейську Святу Літургію. Присутні були місцеве духовенцтво, Члени Дирекції Колеґії, Члени Ордену Св. Андрея, академічний та адміністративний персонал, студенти Колеґії та гості.
Хор Митрополичої Катедри Пресвятої Тройці під керівництвом д-ра Джефа Саранчука збагатив Святу Літургію своїм чудовим співом.
Після Архиєрейської Святої Літургії відбулася Панахида для всіх покійних членів, жертводавців, студентів і членів адміністративно-академічного персоналу Колеґії Св. Андрея.
Після Панахиди всі присутні були запрошені на смачний Храмовий обід під час якого Його Преосвященство Єпископ АНДРІЙ, привітав всіх і уділив щирі слова пастирської поради тим котрі відповідають за Колеґію і тим котрі Колеґію підтримують. Головний доповідач, д-р Роман Єренюк, Діючий Директор Центру Українських Канадських Студій та Редактор журналу Богословського Факультету Колеґії Св. Андрея Віра і Культура, присвятив свій виступ розповіді, як важливо є продовжувати публікації для Української Православної Церкви в Канаді. Це надзвичайно клопітка праця, яка потрібна всім нам для духовного виховання нового покоління.
Після храмового обіду і програми відбулися Річні Збори Членів Колеґії.
The College Feast Day and Annual Meeting of the Members of St. Andrew’s College were held on Sunday, December 12, 2010 following two-day deliberations of the Full Board of Directors of St. Andrew’s College December 10-11, 2010.
His Grace Bishop ANDRIY led the St. Andrew’s College Feast Day Hierarchical Divine Liturgy. In attendance were visiting clergy, members of the College Board of Directors, the Order of St. Andrew Honour Guard, the College academic, administrative and support staff and students as well many guests from Winnipeg and beyond.
The Holy Trinity Metropolitan Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Dr. Jeff Saranchuk, enhanced the Divine Liturgy with their beautiful singing.
The Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was followed by a Panakhyda for the departed members, benefactors, administrative / academic staff and students who have fallen asleep in the Lord.
Following the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, everyone was invited to partake of a delicious Luncheon and Program during which His Grace Bishop ANDRIY, greeted everyone in attendance and provided sincere pastoral words of encouragement to all the supporters and all those responsible for St. Andrew’s College. The keynote speaker, Dr. Roman Yereniuk, Acting Director of the Centre for Ukrainian Canadian Studies and Editor of the St. Andrew’s College Faculty of Theology Journal Faith and Culture, expounded on the need for continued publishing for the edification of the members of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and emphasised the importance of it for the growth and development of our community.
The Annual General Meeting of the Members of St. Andrew’s College followed the Feast Day Luncheon and Program.
