Qualifications:
Position No. HM264



A master's degree from an ALA accredited library program is required. A second

degree in a related subject is desired. Previous experience in an academic library

and familiarity with reference services, bibliographic instruction is desired.

Knowledge of and experience with database and Internet searching is required.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.



*Hours of work - 35 hours per week. Some evening and weekend hours may be

required. There may be a reduction of hours during December.



This is a sessional position beginning November 15, 2013 and ending October 31,

2014.

  • Where a student is the successful candidate, the terms and conditions of employment, including remuneration, will be governed by the Teaching Assistant/Marking UM/CUPE 3909 Collective Agreement. Where an UMFA member is the successful candidate, the terms and conditions of employment, including remuneration, will be governed by the UM-UMFA Collective Agreement.
