The following information applies to all online courses offered by the Centre for Higher Education Research and Development (CHERD) and is subject to change without notice.
The fee per online course for 2011-2012 is now $595.00 CAD (unless otherwise stated), GST exempt, effective March 17th, 2012.
Payment can be made by cheque, Mastercard, Visa, or FOAP (University of Manitoba employees only). No invoices will be issued.

CHERD reserves the right to cancel courses in the event of insufficient registration. If a course must be cancelled, all registrants will be placed on a waitlist, and notified once the next offering of the course is available.
If payments have been processed prior to course cancellation, arrangements will be made for either a full refund or a credit to be applied towards another CHERD course offering. This credit will only be carried over for one year.
PARTICIPANT CANCELLATIONS
If a participant cancels their registration in a course prior to the course start date there will be no fees charged.
If a participant withdraws from a course after the course start date there will be no refunds issued.
Courses are delivered via the University of Manitoba's web-based Learning Management System - ANGEL Learning. Registrants can access the course website for preliminary perusal one week prior to the course start date. This will allow time for you to check compatibility of your computer with the website, and to do initial reading. The course website remains accessible for 4 days after the course completion date to allow time to complete your evaluations, and to do any additional printing that you require. All course materials required are available on the course website.
The courses utilize streaming video that requires a high-speed LAN, cable modem or DSL Internet connection.The use of a dialup modem connection is NOT recommended. Registrants should visit the ANGEL Learning website to perform a System Check.
All courses have been assigned 25 contact hours. Courses can be applied towards the Certificate in University & College Administration programs. For participants enrolled in a certificate program, courses are graded on a pass/fail basis.
