The following registration information applies to the annual programs and workshops offered by the Centre for Higher Education Research and Development (CHERD) and is subject to change without notice.
PROGRAM FEES
Program fees are GST exempt and include instruction and class materials. In some instances, lodging, meals, or refreshents may also be included in the fee. Please refer to the program brochure for specific fee information.
PAYMENT OF COURSE FEES
Payment can be made by cheque, MasterCard, Visa, or FOAP (University of Manitoba employees only). No invoices will be issued.

CANCELLATION AND SUBSTITUTION POLICY
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the program starts, a $200 processing fee will be assessed to cover administrative costs.
- Cancellations received within 16 to 30 days are subject to a charge of 50% of the course fee.
- Cancellations 15 or fewer days before the program’s starting date will be assessed the full course fee.
Participant substitutions may be made if unable to attend.
The University of Manitoba and CHERD offer this program on the basis that in exceptional circumstances, such as illness, substitutions for instructors, and modification to the program may be made.
PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS
CHERD reserves the right to cancel courses in the event of insufficient registration. If a course must be cancelled, all registrants will be placed on a waitlist, and notified once the next offering of the course is available.
