Louise Renée is the Associate Dean of the University of Manitoba's Undergraduate Studies, as well as an associate professor in the University of Manitoba’s Department of French, Spanish & Italian.
Her current research examines how Simone de Beauvoir’s original use of space metaphors allows for a feminist ethic based on an unequivocal rejection of oppression and, in particular, the oppression of women.
