Summer Research Training Institute
The Summer Research Training Institute is based on a partnership between the College of Nursing, Faculty of Kinesiology & Recreation Management, Faculty of Education, and the Centre on Aging. This program will offer a variety of workshops designed to provide introductory research skills and knowledge for students, research assistants, research staff, and faculty members. Any faculty member or researcher, his/her students and research staff that are affiliated with any of the partnering faculties and unit may participate in the Summer Research Training Institute.

The Summer Research Training Institute will provide exposure to a wide variety of experiences related to research.

Eligibility: You must be affiliated with one of the partnering faculties or unit to attend any of the Summer Research Training Institute workshops. Partnering faculties are

  • College of Nursing
  • Faculty of Kinesiology & Recreation Management
  • Faculty of Education
  • Centre on Aging

Registration: All workshops are FREE to attend and require registration. Registration for May workshops will open Monday, April 17. Registration for each workshop will close 24 hours prior to the beginning of the workshop. Space is limited.

There are a number of research events held during May and June. Below is a list of related events. Each event requires a separate registration that is managed separate from the Summer Research Training Institute.
