An Analysis of Second Language Training Programs for Older Adults Across Canada

This project analyzed second language training programs for older adults across Canada. Language training classes "can restore and renew social supports, with profound and positive effects on the health and well-being of older adults". The English for Older Adults program at Age & Opportunity in Winnipeg, MB was highlighted as an Exemplary English Language Program (please see page 8 of the report). Two Centre on Aging Research Affiliates, Laura Taylor and Sharon Taylor-Henley are cited often throughout the article.
