The planning committee for the CBUC 2009 is hard at work and the conference is fast approaching. And there is exciting news about the conference we would like to pass on to you.
Ron Lang, the SunGard Higher Education CEO will be attending the conference and delivering a plenary session. This is the first time a SunGard Higher Education CEO has attended a CBUC conference. We're very pleased to have the opportunity to welcome Mr. Lang to CBUC.
And not only that, Jack Kramer, the Senior Vice President, Strategy and Product Management, Administration with SunGard Higher Education will be delivering the conference opening address. It has been a few years since Mr. Kramer has presented at CBUC, and we're happy to welcome him back.
We've confirmed our Keynote speaker Toni Newman is a dynamic, entertaining, high energy speaker. She'll talk about turning inspiration into innovation and ideas into results. She'll change your thinking from why to why not.
We're also having a pre-conference workshop delivered by the Centre for Higher Education Research and Development (CHERD) Brian Fijal will discuss change in a University and the conflict that results. Through discussion and workshops, he'll review how an understanding of culture, values and University structures can help provide Leadership in Change.Check back in July to get the full conference schedule.
