** NEW STUDENTS**
The parking application will be available to you AFTER
you have accepted your final offer of admission and you have claimed your UMnetID.

Once the registration system has closed or registration is full, students registering for parking after that time will be placed on a waitlist and will not be required to make payment until they are notified a spot is available.
During the registration process, be sure to indicate your student status as "COMMUTER" when prompted.
At the close of the parking registration period, A RANDOM, COMPUTER-GENERATED DRAW will be conducted to determine parking lot assignments.
After Monday, August 14, 2017, please log back into the Parking portal or through your JUMP account to find out your parking lot assignment.
The Parking Permit fee of $576.00 ($548.57 plus GST) must be made within 24 hours to confirm your reservation (see below for accepted methods of payment).

Based on when your name is selected during the random draw, you will be assigned parking in a lot within your selected zone. If your preferred zone is full when your name is drawn, you will be assigned parking in a lot within the other zone.
The parking permit fee is required at time of registration

By registering for student parking online and paying your parking permit fee in full, you agree to abide by the conditions as outlined in the Parking Guidelines, which can be found at: umanitoba.ca/parking/student. Up to September 01 2017, should you choose not to accept your parking assignment, you may request and receive a refund of the parking permit fee paid less a $50 administrative handling fee. After September 01, 2017 your refund will be pro-rated.
