Residence Orientation
Fall Residence Orientation always takes place on the September Long weekend with first year residence students moving in on the Saturday, and upper year students moving in on the Sunday.  Residence Orientation and Parents Orientation take place on the Sunday morning followed by our Welcome BBQ and Street Fair.

2017 - Residence Welcome BBQ - for new and returning resident students and their parents

Students will receive tickets for the Residence Welcome BBQ and Street Festival at the end of their Orientation session.  Come on out to MacLean Crescent at noon for some tastey food, fun activities, receive your free Spirit Cup shirt! 2017 Res Orientation for Parents

There are a lot of things to think about during Residence Move-In Weekend. Settling your student into their new room, going out to get them that new flat screen television you promised them, and finally, saying goodbye! 2017 University Orientation

September 5-6, 2017

Orientation is one of the largest events on campus, involving over 6,000 students, staff, and volunteers. This two-day event will introduce you to the U of M campus and prepare you for university life with academic sessions and workshops, and provides a fun opportunity to meet fellow students! All registered students are automatically enrolled in this two-day orientation session in September. Please link here to view the special events planned.















STUDENT ID CARDS: The Registrar's Office will have a temporary Student ID centre open for students to get their ID cards on: Saturday, September 2nd, 2017 from 9:00am – 1:00pm in Room 224 A-C University Centre
