After receiving tentative acceptance from a professor in ECE (Dept. of Electrical & Computer Engineering) and after submitting an online admissions application, an application can take approximately 4-16 weeks to review and process.

CAUSES FOR DELAYS

The main reason for delays are

  1. TIME OF YEAR
At the beginning or end of an Academic Term, application review and processing may be slower as the Faculty and Departments are very busy
  2. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS
  3. DID NOT OBTAIN TENTATIVE APPROVAL
We do NOT review or process Admissions Applications which have NOT obtained tentative approval

Unfortunately, we cannot process Admissions Application without the payment of the Processing Fee
  5. DID NOT UPLOAD TRANSCRIPTS (UofM graduates transcripts NOT REQUIRED)
Unfortunately, we cannot process Admissions Application without transcripts. At this point, for the purpose of an inititial review, unofficial transcripts/photocopies are fine.
