  • FIRST PLACE - Chris Cadonic
    "Development of a Mathematical Model of Mitochondrial Bioenergetics in Cortical Neurons"

    Chris is a Master of Science student in BME Graduate Program and is conducting research under the supervision of Dr. Benedict Albensi, Home Dept: Pharmacology & Therapeutics.
  •  SECOND PLACE - Cameron Kaye
    "Magnetic Contrast-Enhanced Microwave Biomedical Imaging using Discontinuous Galerkin Contrast Source Inversion"

    Cameron is a Ph.D. Candidate in the BME Graduate Program.  He is completing his reasearch under the supervision of  Dr. Joe LoVetri, Home Dept: Electrical and Computer Engineering.
  • THIRD PLACE - Neilloy Roy
    "Development of a Polyacrylamide/Polyethylene-Terephthalate Model to Study the Influence of Extracellular Matrix Stiffness on Airway Epithelial Cell Physiology"

    Neilloy is a Master of Science student in the Department of Physiology & Pathophysiology.  He is conducting his reseasch under the supervison for Dr. Adrian R. West.
  • HONORABLE MENTION -- Sean O'Brien (not pictured)
    "Computational wear simulation of total knee replacements"

    Sean is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering.  He is completing his reasearch under the supervision of Dr. Jan-Mels Brandt.
