The department announces Teaching Assistant (TA) positions approximately two months prior to the beginning of term. Information is sent out to new and existing students as well as listed on the University of Manitoba Human Resource site https://umanitoba.hua.hrsmart.com/ats/job_search.php?clear=1

  1. go to  http://umanitoba.ca/admin/human_resources/employment/3446.html. Our department makes only one job announcement
  2. click on "Support/Managerial, Sessional Instructor, CUPE/Student"
  3. you may apply for any job listed in this area however, as a Full-Time Student in Graduate Studies you may work only 20 hours a week, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and must have the permission of your Academic Advisor (professor)
    • TA jobs are listed under "Teaching Assistant/Grader Marker"
  4. all ECE Dept. job applications are submitted directly to Ms. Judy Noble (see below)
