The Faculty will remain at the forefront of dental educaiton and will be able to assume a place of promincence in the scholarly development through the incorporation of the Virtual Simulation/Electronic Digital Curriculum.
This new generation of curriculum tools includes a comprehensive platform of foundational science, space-age simulation with haptic feedback and student assessment exercises that apply basic principles and operative techniques to patient care.
This new system improves on existing tools and resources that provide only basic references and simulations. The new virtual simulation system provides tactile sensation and virtual patient scenarios that offer a “gaming-style” environment to the user.
The Virtual Simulation/Electronic Digital Curriculum ensures our students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to enhance dental care in the province.
