**As of July 2019**
With the implementation of the HPTA/R from the Public Health Agency of Canada, the biosafety program - under direction from the Biosafety Advisory Committee - has created a new Biosafety Manual with accompanying appendices. Together these documents are a guide to describe U of M requirements for work with biological agents and assist biosafety permit holders with their local risk assessments and regulatory compliance.
Please note: We do NOT require a hard copy of this manual and appendices be kept in the lab, however it should be accessible upon inspection (i.e. it can be accessed through the web or a copies are downloaded on lab computers)
