Indigenous Awareness Month

The Indigenous community at the University of Manitoba is hosting a variety of incredible events, activities and celebrations throughout the month of March, offering you an opportunity to learn about Indigenous history, knowledges, cultures and traditions, and to celebrate the achievements and contributions of Indigenous faculty, staff and students. The agenda includes everything from a speaker series exploring the Métis, the Indigenous Awards of Excellence, Rising Up - a conference on Indigenous research, Fireside Chats on Indigenous knowledge, the Decolonizing Lens, the 15th Annual Elders and Traditional Peoples Gathering, and more!
