THE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE SEARCH COMMITTEE invites applications and nominations for the position of PROVOST

The Provost of University College is a part-time term administrative appointee, responsible for the operation of the College both as an academic and a residential community. The Provost is expected to provide leadership to the staff and students and to promote the intellectual and cultural environment of the College.

The position is effective July 1, 2004 and is open only to those with an ongoing academic appointment at the University of Manitoba.

Applications should supply a curriculum vitae, the names of three referees, and a brief statement of their vision of the future of the College. Nominators are encouraged to enclose a statement of support with their nominations.

Deadline for applications/nominations is Friday, February 13, 2004.
