Reasonable Accommodation Fund (RAF)
This Fund is designed to:

• enable employees with disabilities to fulfill the requirements of their jobs. This is typically achieved by accommodating the special needs of employees with disabilities by providing special equipment or furnishings, or modifying the work requirements or environment
• facilitate the provision of reasonable accommodations by sharing the costs between the employee's unit and central administration
• facilitate the University meeting its legal obligations with respect to employees with disabilities.

The Fund will provide support on a cost-share basis with the employee's faculty, school or administrative unit. The fund may also be used in recruitment to accommodate the special needs of new employees.
