U of M - Administration - Human Resources - Environmental Health and Safety Office - "EHS Assistant" Controlled Products Database

"EHS Assistant" Controlled Products Database

'EHS Assistant'  is the name of the new university wide chemical, radiation and biological inventory database.

The University is required to maintain a centralized system for tracking the use and location of controlled products including chemical, biological and radioactive material in order to provide accurate, timely information for risk assessments, emergency response and government reports.

All departments will be required to maintain their chemical inventory information on this database.

‘EHS Assistant’ will provide a web accessible, university wide chemical, radiation and biological inventory database with security defined on many levels.  The format is user friendly and will provide the opportunity for managing other information that departments have identified as valuable in conjunction with their chemical inventories.
