Senate Motions for April 3, 2019
 

The following motions were approved by Senate at its meeting on April 3, 2019:


THAT Senate approve:

  • the Report of the Senate Committee on Medical Qualifications RE: Dr. Ashish Shah;
  • the Report of the Faculty Council of Graduate Studies on Program and Curriculum Changes RE: BFAR Statements for the Departments of Animal Science, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Entomology, Mechanical Engineering, and Pathology, and the College of Rehabilitation Sciences.

THAT the minutes of the Senate meeting held on March 6, 2019 be approved as circulated.

THAT Senate recommend that the Board of Governors approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Awards – Part B [dated February 19, 2019].

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Instruction and Evaluation concerning the modification of Academic Assessment Standards, Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, effective September 1, 2019.

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Instruction and Evaluation concerning the proposed Learners with Bloodborne Pathogens policy, Max Rady College of Medicine, effective upon Senate approval.

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Instruction and Evaluation concerning the proposed Student Immune Status Requirements policy, Max Rady College of Medicine, effective upon Senate approval.

THAT Senate approve and recommend to the Board of Governors, the closure of the Ph.D. in Cancer Control.

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Faculty Council of Graduate Studies on Course, Curriculum and Regulation Changes concerning revisions to the Academic Guide, Faculty of Graduate Studies, effective September 1, 2019.

THAT Senate approve the Reports of the Faculty Council of Graduate Studies on Course, Curriculum and Regulation Changes, effective for the next available term:

  • RE: Department of Computer Science;
  • RE: Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering;
  • RE: Department of Physical Therapy;
  • RE: Asper School of Business, Master of Business Administration, Correction to Report of December 13, 2018.
