Senate Motions for May 19, 2010
The following motions were approved by the Senate at its meeting on May 19, 2010.


THAT the list of candidates recommended for degrees notwithstanding a deficiency be approved.

THAT the list of graduands provided to the University Secretary by the Registrar be approved, subject to the right of Deans and Directors to initiate late changes with the Registrar up to May 21, 2010.

THAT the report on medals and prizes provided to the University Secretary be approved by Senate.

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Curriculum and Course Changes and the reports of the Faculty of Graduate Studies on Course Changes.

THAT the minutes of the Senate meeting held on April 7, 2010 be approved as amended.

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Faculty Council of Graduate Studies regarding Regulation Changes [dated March 9, 2010].

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Faculty Council of Graduate Studies regarding Program changes in the Departments of Family Social Sciences and Sociology [dated March 9, 2010].

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Faculty Council of Graduate Studies regarding the Faculty of Dentistry requirement for Adult Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check  [dated March 9, 2010].

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Faculty Council of Graduate Studies regarding Course and Curriculum Changes in the School of Art [dated March 9, 2010].

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Nominations [dated May 19, 2010].

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Instruction and Evaluation regarding the Faculty of Engineering [dated April 15, 2010].

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Instruction and Evaluation regarding the Faculty of Medicine [dated March 18, 2010].
