Our Alumni

We are so proud of our alumni. The University of Manitoba has 128,669 alumni who are accomplishing amazing things here at home and around the world.  We count community leaders, accomplished artists, human rights champions, professional athletes, Rhodes Scholars, innovative researchers and successful entrepreneurs among our grads who do us proud every day in the work they do and through the lives they lead.

• U of M Alumni lead major corporations like Cargill, IGM Financial, James Richardson & Sons, Onex and Scotiabank
• The U of M is the only western Canadian university to make an international ranking on number of alumni leading Fortune 500 companies
• Close to 200 U of M grads have been named to the Order of Canada as members, companions or officers since the award was established in 1967

Each year, alumni are welcomed back to campus for Homecoming, a week-long celebration that connects graduates from all corners of the world. More than 60 reunions were organized in 2010.
