Campus Life

Learning beyond the classroom is an essential component to the student experience, and the U of M provides a wide variety of non-academic programs for students to get involved and explore their interests through leadership, exchanges, service learning and volunteerism. Each year:

• students make an impact through programs such as the Reading Buddies, Children Rising Mentorship Program, Alternative Reading Week and Bangladesh Service Learning Experience
• students have the opportunity to travel and study abroad with the university’s 182 exchange agreements with institutions in 33 different countries
• over 100 student groups offer exciting outlets for every interest

Students who live on campus can choose between six residences that house 1,315 students each year - Arthur V. Mauro Student Residence, Mary Speechly Hall, University College Residence, St. John’s College, St. Andrew’s College and Pembina Hall, the new 360-bed residence which opened in the 2011/12 academic year.
